Small Business Vitality Assistance program now open

The intake form for the , which willÌýinvest $750,000 in Albany entrepreneurs and businesses, is now open. Made possible byÌýthe City of Albany's $80.7 million American Rescue Plan Act award, funding of $2,000-$15,000 will be provided to approved entities to assist in three categories: COVID recovery, entrepreneur class/program tuition, and technical assistance. The program is available to businesses within the City of Albany;Ìý.

  • Past-due commercial insuranceÌýÌý

  • Past-due utilitiesÌýÌý

  • Outstanding taxesÌýÌý

  • Outstanding vendor billsÌýÌý

  • Technology upgrades Ìý

  • Implementing new servicesÌý(delivery, online purchasing, etc.)Ìý

  • Entrepreneurial training coursesÌý

  • AccountingÌý

  • Human resourcesÌý

  • Legal servicesÌý

  • Information technology servicesÌý

  • MWBE certificationÌý

The program will be administered through the Central Avenue BID, in partnership with the Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ Albany BID, Arbor Hill Development Corporation, Albany Chapter of the NAACP, and Small Business Development Center.Ìý
